Error Message from the new 4.0 OS
MiLi pack does not work at all after I installed the new 4.0 OS!
I get an error message from the OS saying that the device is not supported
Before this, my MiLi pack did not work well, I could hear a ticking sound and a growling radio static sound coming from the unit at times!
Also, the blue light indicators are not accurate!
I have no function out of my unit that is less than 2 weeks old!

Why does it say it doesn't charge this device??
Ok, this product is ok, but the annoying warning message that the device isn't compatible with this product is annoying...and then you have to disconnect the device and replug it in to get it to charge...I had a Morphie charger which broke and thought I would try this product.
Be warned that you will be continually annoyed by the compatible issue warnings...why hasn't MiLi gotten this thing straightened out???

Works, but...
I purchased this product for my iPhone 3GS. While it does extend the operating time of the iPhone by first using power from the Power-Pack and then from the iPhone battery, it has a very annoying habit of intermittently beeping and showing a message that it is not compatible. Other than that, it works fine. I did have to return my first one because it wouldn't take a charge. Customer service was very good. They shipped me a new one and asked me to return the defective one in the new one's shipping box. While the MiLi Power-Pack does work, I'm sorry I bought it because of the annoying beeps and I would not recommend it. Next time I would go with an Apple product so it would be compatible.

Works good enough
I would give it five with a few modifications. The phone runs first, then you employ the MiLi. I would rather the MiLi run down first.... Other than that, it fits well, and works up to my expectations. (Those are my expectations, mind you, YMMV)

Invaluable battery extender for the iPhone
Given that the iPhone's battery isn't replaceable, the MiLi battery pack is a clever way to extend an iPhone's day without finding for a power plug. Without charging and with fairly active use, my iPhone 3G's battery seems to get into the red zone within 6-8 hours. When it reaches the red, the fully-charged MiLi pack will charge the iPhone to full. Then, if the iPhone gets into the red again, the MiLi will still charge the iPhone to full one more time, at which point the MiLi will be out of charge. In other words, the MiLi triples the useful life of the iPhone without having to find a place to plug in.
I've also used the MiLi's USB "output" port to charge another phone (a Droid) and a Bluetooth headset. This capability makes the MiLi extra versatile. If I need to, I can slide the iPhone into the MiLi and charge both using the USB "input" port from a wall plug, or I can sync the iPhone and charge both the phone and the MiLi from the computer at the same time.
By itself, the MiLi takes maybe 1.5-2 hours to charge from a wall charger and perhaps 2-3 hours to charge from a laptop.
My only (minor) complaint is that the iPhone cannot wear a case while it is charging in the MiLi. Since my old iPhone case was very hard to get on and off, this made me decide to use the iPhone without a case at all. (If you had a quick connect case, this might not be an issue.)
With the iPhone inserted into the MiLi, the combo will still fit in most pants pockets. I attended two conferences with the iPhone mated with the MiLi. The combo was fantastic, allowing me to go all day without trying to find a wall socket while having plenty of juice for checking email, surfing the web, and more. Several of my colleagues also have MiLi's. I highly recommend it!
